BRANOfol M4 LDPE-based VCI film provides excellent optical parameters because of low light scattering. It provides VCI protection from one or both sides, it is nitrite free, provides quick VCI build-up up- as well as long-term protection.
BRANOfol M4 continuously releases small amounts of corrosion protection agents inside the packaging (VCI: Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors), helping to provide effective protection against corrosion for metal parts during transport or storage.
Storage and Duration of Protection.
Components packed with BRANOfol M4 are effectively protected from corrosion for up to 24 months. Additionally, with proper application knowledge, BRANOfol can provide long-term protection for over 10 years, making it ideal for the final storage of component series.
Our application consultants are available to offer personalised advice on available options. BRANOfol M4 should be kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and it can be stored in its original packaging for up to three years. In the original packaging, the storage suitability is up to three years.
