BRANOgel & Silica gel
BRANOgel is a bentonite clay-based desiccant, corrosion neutral, granulated and packaged in bags made from dust and tear-proof fabric or fleece. The drying agents remove most of the moisture from the air. BRANOgel offers protection against moisture that can lead to corrosion and deterioration of sensitive goods. For effective protection to be achieved, the packaging of the goods must be moisture-resistant. Each package must be heat-sealed and made moisture-proof.
Silica gel is a white amorphous silicon dioxide-based desiccant, beads/granulated and packaged in bags made from dust and tear-proof paper or fleece. The drying agents absorb the majority of the moisture out of the air.
Application
BRANOgel drying agents are added to the packaging just before they are sealed for the final time. It should be applied evenly and on top where possible as warm moist air rises up. Direct contact of BRANOgel on pure metal surfaces should be avoided.
