Characteristics FERRPtect DWY2 Oil
FERROtect DWY 2 is a corrosion preventive and dewatering oil based on sol-vent. Directly on wet metal surfaces FERROtect DWY 2 displace water and leaves a highly effective temporary protective film against corrosion. Traces of moisture on metal surfaces are infiltrated.
Application and Dosage
Corrosion protection for all metal surfaces, machines, tools, agricultural types of equipment and mechanical parts. For the conservation of all metal parts against corrosion over a long period, e.g., store production, spare parts storage, long mail orders over different climatic zones, and long storage after dispatch. Apply through dip-and-drain, painting, or spraying. Do not apply to hot parts.
Duration of Protection
Depending on the climate, the contamination level of the air and the pollution condition of the metal surface.
– Indoors: 6 months
– Outdoors: 2 months
